Magzine Mock Up - Audience Feedback
As a whole the audience feed back that I received for my magazine advert seemed to be widely positive. They loved the way in which the back ground linked to the fore ground of the image. They also loved the colour scheme and that it shows power and wealth ect however many people thought that gold would stand out more and show him to be powerful. For this reason i will be changing my colour scheme to the colours gold white and grey. Some concerns that were brought up included the way that the bottom part of the advert was laid out with many people saying that there was too much black in it. This will be addressed in my first draft.

Digi-pack ideas 1
One of the main ideas foe my Digi pack is to have a black and white background of a city. This would directly link to the overall theme of my Digi pack which is looing back on Hackim's life. Having it in black and white can be used to signify the past how gloomy it was in comparison to his future.

Casting Changes - Female Lead.
Due to uncontrollable reasons the actress for the music video has been changed. This beautiful young lady is Leloo. We felt as if Leloo would be the best lead for our music video as she is both beautiful and confident. Being in front of the camera seems to come naturally to her and this should be very helpful in terms of producing a realistic music video. Although we were not able to carry out market research on Leloo. It is clear that from her 1000 + followers of the same age of our target audience and the likes and positive comments she gets on her social media page that she would be a perfect fit!

Introduction Script
This is the script for the introduction of my music video. This is as my introduction will be an argument so it is essential that the models get scripts so that they know exactly what they need to say.
Audience Feedback - Models
I have chosen to use social media as audience feedback on my models. In particular Instagram, this is because social media accounts reach a wide range of people. It allows comments to be made on images and videos. Also it is stereotypical that young people use social media the most. Which is my target audience. Above is some of the comments left on my models social media accounts. All of these comments were positive showing that they were both good choices.

Audience Feedback - Locations
A range of people were asked what they thought of my individual locations and how they could be improved. The comments that I received were largely positive and included people asking how they could visit there themselves. However, they did think that some of the locations that we had chosen were quite far away and may be difficult to get to. For this reason in my model meeting I will be discussing with each of my models if the locations are convenient for them. Additionally 3 of our 4 group members drive. So if there are any problems we will be able to pick up our models.

Music Video Ideas - Slow Motion Rewind
Music Video Ideas - Filter Lights
This Gif shows one of the main ideas that was put forward which was the use of different coloured filter lights. I was espically attracted to the way in which the lights were used to shine through the blinds creating an illusion of streaks of light on her face. I believe that this would work really well with both my song and the narrative of it. As it can be used to show that there are different aspects of love (through the colours) and the dark side of it through having our model in a dark room.
Music Video Ideas - Black & White
This post shows an example of a relationship in black and white. I but forward the idea of presenting the relationship in black and white to signify him looking in to the past at how his relationship with his ex girlfriend. This would be a good idea as it would mean that the audience can always see the difference between when the video is looking at him in the present day and when the video is looking at the past.
Music Video Ideas - Argument
This is an idea that we had for the start of our video - This video has incorporated an argument from 0:00 - 0:22. We thought that this would be a good idea to have at the start of our own music video to really emphasise our narrative

Institutional Context
This posts shows some initial research on production companies - it outlines the fact that my product is a commercial product so I am able to look into what type of industries produces what type of records.
Current Market Analysis
This post covers my existing market analysis. It looks into an existing product helping me to see the relationship between the album cover music video and magazine advert:
This shows the official trailer of Beyonce's album Lemonade. Lemonade is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé. It was released on April 23, 2016, by Parkwood Entertainment and distributed through Columbia Records. My advert however will be a print advert. Despite this from this trailer you can see that they have kept the theme of the music videos going throughout using the advert to sell the album.
Beyonce uses this album in order to address serious issues and issues about her personal life. This is shown through this post showing an image of the album in the middle and all of the relevant themes surrounding it. In relation to Richard Dyer's Utopian Theory this offers the audience a sense of honesty as she is revealing personal information. This makes the audience feel relief as they feel like they are listening to something that matters.
This is an example music video from Beyonce's Lemonade album. This emphasises the overall them of the album which is anger. Overall from the current market analysis i have learnt that all aspects of the production of an album must link together for example the narrative of the music video must also be presented on the album cover.
Secondary Research
Favourite Music Video Of Chosen Genre
This is an example of one of my favourite music videos - This is due to the narrative, the way in which the lyrics link directly to the music video is very impressive.
Another reason as to why I admire this music video is because of the use camera techniques - for example to fast jump cuts emphasising the pain that he is feeling. Also the use of black and white in some of the scenes where he is with Kelly Rowland. This is used to show him reminiscing about how they used to be. This makes the audience quickly able to relate to the music video and also understand what is going on. In relation to Maslow's Hierachy of needs this offers the audience safety needs as they feel safe in knowing what the story is telling them.
History of Chosen Genre
This post shows the conventions of my chosen genre of music. This is important as this genre will be a running theme throughout my whole production so it is important to have some background research in order to make sure my production matches the conventions of my music genre.
Audience Profile - Extended
This post is an extension of the previous one and is used to explain the psychographics of my target audience:
The socio-economic category that she falls under is 'E' this is as at this age they are currently still students maybe doing part time work or not working at all relying on the state (child benefits) or their parents.
In terms of psychographic categories she falls under mainstreamer, aspirer and succeeder.
This is because: She is as she is seen as a passive person and conforms to the conventional stereotypes of a teenage girl in order to fit in in society. (Mainstreamer)
She is very materialist and cares a lot about her appearance a she would argue that packaging is more important than quality of contents.(Aspirer)
She is strongly goal orientated, this is as she is very interested in becoming a music artist and would do anything to get their. (Succeeder)
Audience Profile
This part of my audience profile explains the demographics of my target audience. This is done by taking a person and breaking her down into her age and other components.
Questionnaire Analysis
For my questionnaire I gave it to 100 people. This post includes the graphs from the result and analysis of them.
Music Research Questionnaire
Survey Creator
This is a questionnaire full of questions. I have choosen to use an online survey making tool so that it can reach a wider range of people thus strengthening my research. It also means that I will get a wider range of responses meaning I can really concentrate on my audience when preparing my own products.
Magazine Advert Recreation - Audience Feedback

Conventions of An Album
This post shows the main conventions of an album cover and relates it to different theories.
Mood Board - Album Covers
This is a mood board created on 'canva' it shows a variety of different Album covers. This has been helpful for me as it has allowed me to see that the different genres all have different conventions that have all been portrayed differently. For example through costume codes and gesture codes. It has also allowed me to get an idea of the different ways that I can create my own album covers As each album cover gives the audience feel I have learnt that I must ask my audience what they want before starting my own production.

Lip Syncing Exersise
From my audience research I have seen there were some concern about my music video reconstruction. They thought it was done very well however they were not sure if all of the video techniques were covered. For example lip syncing and camera movement, for this reason i have decided to do this lip syncing exercise. which consists of 3 different attempts. The last two are drastically better than the first one showing the importance of actually singing the words when lip syncing to make sure that it looks believable. So from this I have learnt to make sure that my artist actually says the words whilst preforming.
Music Video Reconstruction - Audience Feedback
Task: I gave 7 people a post it note and asked them to watch my album cover reconstruction (seen in the previous post) and asked what they thought about my music video reconstruction. They were asked to each write down at least one positive and one negative. Their responses are included above. I then analysed them in terms of what I can take from this feedback and how it will help with the creation of my own music video.
Music Video Recreation
This is a recreation of some of the shot types in The video of Bryson Tiller - Don't. This has been done on my iphone six and all images put together back to back - it has allowed me to see how shot types can be used in order to create a video and how many different shot types need to be used. Each one has been clearly labeled with the original Shot from the video first. Then it is followed by my recreation.
